Notices for Sunday 27th June 2010: Trinity 4

All weekday services will be at their usual times this week, except that Tuesday and Wednesday mornings’ services will swap venues: on Tuesday at 9:00 am there is a Eucharist at Ringland for St Peter’s Day (their Patronal Festival), and on Wednesday at 9:00 am Morning Prayer will be said at Weston Longville. Additionally Saturday morning’s service at 9:00 am at Attlebridge will be the Eucharist for St Thomas’ Day.

This week we pray particularly for those who live and work along Wood Lane and in Woodforde Close in Weston Longville.

Next Sunday at 5:00 pm the monthly Informal Songs of Praise takes place at Ringland. As this is the nearest convenient Sunday to St Peter’s Day, Ringland church is keeping this as its ‘Patronal Festival’, its church’s birthday. There will be no service there in the morning, and we hope to see quite a number of people there in the afternoon. As it is the church’s birthday the Songs of Praise will finish with a cream tea, price £2 – and because of catering obviously we need to know approximate numbers in advance. So if you think you would like to come to the service, please could you let Selwyn or Dian Frost (868979) have suggestions for any favourite hymns to sing; and if you know you would like to stay for tea, could you please let Elaine Lockett (860026) or Eileen Pearson (868500) know by Wednesday of this week.
